Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 2026 - This page explains how Charigent uses cookies and similar technologies.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Charigent does not use third-party advertising cookies. We use only the categories below to operate, secure, and improve the service.
1. Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. They help with secure sign-in, session continuity, CSRF protection, abuse prevention, and basic product operation.
If you block essential cookies, important parts of Charigent may not work correctly.
2. Preference Cookies
Preference cookies may store choices such as language, consent state, or interface settings so we can give you a more consistent experience across visits.
3. Limited Measurement and Product Analytics
Charigent records limited first-party events sent by your browser by default, including when no cookie choice is stored and when you choose Essential Only. When a durable revocation is recorded on an authenticated account, or a browser GPC/DNT signal is present, the event endpoint stops recording future browser-submitted events. Google Analytics runs by default until you choose Essential Only or send a browser GPC/DNT opt-out. Essential Only stops GA4 and its client identifiers while leaving ordinary first-party browser events on; service-generated operational events use a separate path. We do not use cross-site advertising profiles or ad-targeting cookies.
4. Third-Party Services
Some embedded or connected services may set their own cookies when you interact with them directly. Examples can include payment providers, authentication providers, or support tooling. Those cookies are governed by the relevant third party.
5. Your Choices
- Use the controls below or in Settings → Privacy to turn Google Analytics off or on. Essential Only leaves ordinary first-party browser events on; GPC/DNT or a recorded account revocation stops future browser event recording. Server-generated operational events may still be recorded separately.
- Change your browser settings to block or clear cookies.
- Be aware that disabling essential cookies may break login and account features.
