Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Effective date: November 3, 2026
Ninefold Ventures LLC, doing business as Charigent, provides this separate notice about consumer health data, including under Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law. Our address is PO Box 8043, Las Vegas, NV 89124.
1. Health data we collect and its sources
Your conversations with Charigents may reveal information about physical or mental health, diagnoses, medications, therapy, pregnancy, disability or sexual health. We receive this information from the messages, voice or other content you choose to share. Safety events may include crisis, self-harm or distress signals from those interactions, linked to your account or conversation.
We do not buy consumer health data or use precise location to identify visits to health care services. We do not provide medical care, diagnosis or therapy.
2. Why we use health data and your consent
We use health-related information as needed to respond to the conversation you request and keep the service safe. Safety events help us provide crisis resources, review safety concerns and improve our crisis protocol. Only team members who need access for these purposes may review them.
Remembering conversations is part of the service. Ordinary memory is on by default for registered users and external identities. We save health details as memories for future conversations only with the authenticated person's current optional consent. External and anonymous identities never save health details as memories. Without consent, summaries are instructed to omit specific health details. Summaries are conversation context and are deleted with the conversation.
You can view and delete saved memories in the memory panel and turn memory off using the memory controls. Turning memory off stops future memory use and creation; it does not delete existing memories. To allow or stop remembering health details, change the optional choice in Settings > Privacy or the memory panel. Withdrawing health consent stops future health-detail memory but keeps ordinary memory available. You can also delete health memories already saved.
You can decline or withdraw health-data consent and still use a Charigent, ordinary memory and crisis resources. Health-data consent does not allow training on your conversations. Any optional training use needs a separate choice and remains subject to our Privacy Policy and platform restrictions. For EEA and UK users, optional memory of health or sex-life information requires explicit consent, which you can withdraw.
3. Who receives health data
We do not sell consumer health data. We disclose it only to service providers as needed to deliver the requested conversation, voice features, storage and safety support, subject to the restrictions in our Privacy Policy. We do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.
See the provider names and their roles on our Service providers page. Connected platforms receive information only as needed for the actions you request and as their terms allow.
4. Retention and deletion
Health-related conversation content follows the chat and content retention rules in our Privacy Policy. Safety events do not have a fixed age-based deletion period. Deleting your account removes safety events linked to your user ID. You may also ask us to delete health data without closing your account. A legal duty or valid legal hold may require limited retention; we will explain any exception that applies to your request.
Restricted backup copies may remain until replaced. Deletion requests also cover service providers where required by law.
5. Your rights and how to use them
You may request access to your consumer health data, a list of the service providers that received it, deletion, or withdrawal of consent. Change your health-data choice in Settings > Privacy, use account deletion there, or email [email protected]. Tell us which right you want to use and how to find your account. Do not send passwords or extra health details.
We verify requests and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we deny a request, reply to the decision email to appeal. We will explain the decision and how to contact the relevant state authority. You may contact the Washington or Nevada Attorney General about an unresolved concern. We do not treat you unfairly for using these rights.
Withdrawing consent stops future optional processing covered by that consent. It does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can also request deletion of health data already held.
